WE ARE GIVING AWAY A QUILT RETREAT! You read that right! We have been working hard to make Dogwood Exchange ready for our first overnight guests. We still have work to do but we want to get the ball rolling into 2025.We are giving away a quilt retreat weekend (Thursday-Sunday) for one lucky winner and five of their quilter guests. Our 1935 Homesteads stone house has 3 bedrooms (each room has 2 twin beds) and 1 bathroom. Guests can fix their own meals in our renovated kitchen or we can make arrangements to have a special meal catered (not included).The retreat will be held in our glamped out barn. The room is 24x45 with lots of natural lighting and extra outlets on separate breakers. Guests will bring their own quilting projects, machines and supplies. Tables, chairs, iron, ironing board, design boards and cutting station will be provided.Here's what you need to do for a chance to win. No purchase required but must be 21 to enter.1. Write a letter, yes pen to paper explaining your quilting journey, why you want to win and who you might bring with you. Please share some of your favorite projects. We look forward to seeing your work and hearing your story.2. Include your name, address, phone number and email address in your letter. You will be notified on Saturday, December 21st if you are selected. Winner can choose arrival dates of either January 23rd or January 30th with departure dates of January 26th or February 2nd (Thursday-Sunday stay)3. Locate a postage stamp and mail your letter to Dogwood Exchange, 4950 Hwy 127 S Crossville, TN 38572. Yes, we are going old school. Email, text, messenger or any other form of communication will not be allowed for entry.4. Letters must be postmarked on or before Monday, December 16th 2024. The winner will be announced on Saturday, December 21st, 2024. Winner must declare their selected weekend arrival date by Saturday, January 4th 2025. This is two weeks after the winner has been notified. A $200 security deposit will need to be paid at that time. This deposit will be refunded after property has been inspected for possible damages.5. Dogwood Exchange reserves the right to use information/photos for marketing purposes.
